The property on the Gold Coast where Johnny Depp suffered the cutting of the tip of his finger has been sold for $40 million, which is the highest price that has ever been paid for a home in the state of Queensland.

The high-end property, which had been owned by the reigning 500cc World Motorcycle Champion Mick Doohan, was put up for auction on September 28 and sold for the sum that the seller had requested.
